About the NASDAQ Last Sale Page
The NASDAQ Last Sale page show real time information for all of your favorite U.S. stocks (Listed on NASDAQ, NYSE, and AMEX). It provides investors with the securities' real-time NASDAQ Last Sale, Net Change and NASDAQ Volume.
Data Definitions
- Stock symbol
- A unique symbol assigned to a security. NASDAQ symbols are four or five characters in length, NYSE symbols are one to three letters long, Amex symbols are two or three, and OTCBB are four or five.
- NASDAQ Last Sale Price
- The price at which a stock last traded during regular market hours. Quoted in U.S. dollars and cents.
- Net Change
- The difference in the current last sale price and the previous days' official closing price.
- Percent Change
- That amount in percentage terms that the last sale price for the stock has changed from the previous trading days' official closing price.
- NASDAQ Share Volume
- The number of shares of the stock traded on the listing exchange during regular trading hours.
