We provide post-acute health care services primarily to Medicare beneficiaries in non-urban markets in the United States. We provide home-based services, primarily through home nursing agencies and hospices and facility-based services, primarily through long-term acute care hospitals and outpatient rehabilitation clinics. Through our wholly and majority owned subsidiaries, equity joint ventures and controlled affiliates, we currently operate in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Texas, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, West Virginia, Ohio and Missouri. As of December 31, 2007, we owned and operated 144 home nursing locations, nine hospices, a diabetes management company and a private duty agency.
