We are Charles & Colvard, Ltd., a North Carolina corporation founded in 1995 (the “Company” or “Charles & Colvard,” which may be referred to as “we,” “us” or “our”) that manufactures, markets and distributes Charles & Colvard created Moissanite jewels (also called “moissanite” or “moissanite jewels”) for sale in the worldwide jewelry market. Moissanite, also known by its chemical name, silicon carbide (SiC), is a rare, naturally occurring mineral found primarily in meteors.
